Vipre i stupidly tried to install vipre antivirus while i still had avira antivirus and it messed my computer all up and it caused my computer to get blue screens and everything else. anyway since i cant have both which one would you say is better? also the vipre i tired to install was the professional version and the avira was the free version

i have tried them both before. avira is famous for its top notch detection rate but fairly simple gui. however, vipre is sooo light on resources plus the latest version has the scanning the usb upon insertion which i really liked. choose which one has the lesser impact in your pc, if you are not the one who downloads and visit sites adventurously, you can settle for vipre. otherwise, opt for avira
