Vipre question! It won’t remove from my computer?

I was stupid and installed an antivirus program called Vipre. I want to remove it, but there is no file in the “Add and Remove Programs” window, and system restore won’t let me…
So is there any way I can get rid of this piece of junk antivirus program?
I deleted the folder from the Programs File, which was probably another stupid move…
I have Windows XP…

   Does it have a logo? Right click and select “open file location”, and manually delete those files. Assuming you have Win 7, search for the file name via the start menu, and delete those files. Good luck.

   Next time check online communities and ask people about legitimate free antivirus software.
