Why would you want to use a fairly unknown anti-virus solution when there are better anti-virus solutions out there, some which are also free of charge? If you do not wish to spend any money, download and install Microsoft Security Essentials instead. If you want the best anti-virus solution available, purchase ESET NOD32; see AV Comparatives for independent test results.

vipre is a quit essential av for Win xp . AVG and Avast are also gud. but if u want a automatic protection without any precautions then it is better to buy a premium av (they are not as costly as many people think)

Kaspersky has got a reasonable price.

well viper is 30 bucks and me i would go for the #1 internet security suite ; that has a free rescue disc built in and a free virtual box
kaspersky internet security 2011 for the same price , here is the link for the full program for 1 pc for 1 yr
    30 dollars
    http://store.majorgeeks.com/p11416-kaspersky_internet_security_2011_1-pc_1-year
now that is a bargin for total security with tech support 24/7
i like and have use avast and avira but the detection or protection is nowhere near kis 2011 and free means very limited protection in real-time
